Even though it is night, the comforting thought of the approaching Easter guides us through the darkness. In his programme, cellist Josef Hülser accompanies us on this journey with works for solo cello by Jacques Ibert, Bertold Hummel, Arthur Honegger and Johann Sebastian Bach. Through these works, the hope that emanates from Laetare Sunday becomes audible and tangible amidst the desolation and darkness of Lent.
