Scholarship from the Federation of German Industries (1956)

In 1956,the Kulturkreis im Bundesverband der deutschen Industrie e.V. Köln awarded Bertold Hummel a grant of 2500 DM following a competition between ten composers. The arrangement of the melody "Du mein einzig Licht" requested by the composers served as a basis for comparison between the applicants. The grant was awarded in recognition of the overall performance.
