Between 2005 and 2022, the Bertold Hummel Foundation, in collaboration with the Bavarian music academies in Würzburg, Munich, Augsburg and Regensburg, organised ten editions of the Bertold Hummel Competition for instrumental students from all music academies and conservatories in selected European countries.
