Nun lobet Gott im hohen Thron,
ihr Völker aller Nation;
hoch preiset ihn mit Freudenschalle,
ihr Völker auf der Erden alle!

Denn sein Erbarmen, seine Gnad'
sich über uns gebreitet hat.
Es wird die Wahrheit unsres Herren
in Ewigkeit ohn' Ende währen.

Lob sei dem Vater und dem Sohn,
dem Heil'gen Geist auf gleichem Thron,
im Wesen einem Gott und Herren,
den wir in drei Personen ehren.
