In July 2001, Bertold Hummel was asked to compose the ceremonial opening music based on his setting of the 95th Psalm with the sweeping verse "Auf, lasst uns jubeln dem Herrn" on the occasion of the Pontifical Office for the establishment of the University of Catholic Church Music and Music Education in Regensburg.
