Patricia Vörös (1998 | Hungary)

Patricia Vörös has been studying at the Folkwang University of the Arts with Prof Laura Vukobratović since 2017. She has taken part in masterclasses with Gábor Tarkövi, Reinhold Friedrich, Gábor Boldoczki, Marco Blaauw, Klaus Schuhwerk and Mireia Farrés and won the Ingrid Girardet Prize in the Folkwang Competition (2021) and 2nd prize at the 40th International Wind and Percussion Competition in Debrecen (2017). She played in the Orchestra Academy of the Bergische Symphoniker (2018/2019) and received a temporary contract as deputy principal trumpet in the Münster Symphony Orchestra for the 2021-22 season.

Oles Burak (1996 | Ukraine)

Oles Burak was born in Malyn in Ukraine and completed his trumpet studies at the Kiev Institute of Music in 2015 with a diploma. In 2020, he obtained a further degree as an orchestral musician at the Detmold University of Music and has been studying for a Master of Music with Prof. Jürgen Ellensohn in Würzburg since the winter semester 2021/22. He has attended numerous masterclasses with internationally renowned trumpeters such as Håkan Hardenberger, Hannes Läubin, Tobias Füller and Matthias Höfs. He has won numerous 1st and 2nd prizes at international competitions and reached the 2nd round of the ARD Music Competition in 2018. Since 2017, he has been a regular guest at various German orchestras - including the Braunschweig State Orchestra, the Rheinische Philharmonie Koblenz State Orchestra, the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie Herford and the Niederrheinische Sinfoniker Krefeld/Mönchengladbach - in the position of 1st solo trumpeter. Since 1 August 2019, he has been Deputy Principal Trumpet of the Thüringen Philharmonie Gotha-Eisenach.

David Aguilar Troyano (1997 | Spanien)

David Aguilar Troyano recently completed his Master's degree in trumpet at the "Royal Conservatory of Antwerp" with his teacher Simon van Hoecke (soloist of the National Orchestra of Luxembourg). He is currently doing his second Master's degree (Professional Performance) at the Folkwang University of the Arts (Essen) with his main teacher Laura Vukobratović and completing his studies in baroque trumpet with the teacher Hans-Martin Rux-Brachtendorf. In 2021, he took part in the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Academy and was among the 21 trumpeters in the second round of 92 applications. He participated in numerous masterclasses and won 1st prize at the Brass Competition of the Conservatorio Superior de Salamanca (2018) and 2nd prize at the National Competition of the Andalucia Brass Academy (2014)
